Modern therapies for diabetes treatment still outside reimbursement system in Poland

In 2017, pharmacy sales of alimentary tract and metabolism products increased by around 5% year on year. In Q1 2018, a further increase of almost 3% was noted, and this rendered it the sixth most rapidly growing ATC category in pharmacy sales, both in 2017 and during the first three months of 2018, according to PEX PharmaSequence data.  An important part of the alimentary tract and metabolism subcategory is accounted for by diabetes products.
