PMR Insight: Poland lags behind other EC countries in terms of self-reported intake of antibiotics

According to a Eurobarometer survey, the percentage of adult Poles who took at least one dose of oral antibiotics in the preceding 12 months rose by 2 p.p. in 2016 to 28% in comparison with 2013. In terms of the rate of self-reported intake of oral antibiotics, Poland lags behind other the CE countries analysed (Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia).
