PMR Insight: Cancer patients with DiLO cards wait for shorter periods but at the expense of those without cards

The oncology reform package has abolished funding limits for cancer diagnosis and treatment in order to reduce waiting times. Since its introduction in 2015, waiting times for patients with Oncology Diagnosis and Treatment (DiLO) cards have changed little, whereas those for non-DiLO patients have been rising, according to Watch Health Care Foundation data.
