PMR Insight: Increase in Gedeon Richter`s pharmaceutical sales in Poland and Romania but reductions in Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2016

Gedeon Richter, the prominent Hungarian pharmaceutical manufacturer, saw its total revenue increase by 6.7% in forints and by 6.1% in euro year on year in 2016. The Group generated total revenues of HUF 389.7bn (€1.25bn). The bulk (89%) of the company’s pharmaceutical sales, which came to HUF 324bn (€1bn) and increased year on year by almost 4.8% in forints and by 4.2% in euro, originated outside Hungary.
