Hospital in Nove Mesto nad Vahom to undergo €3m reconstruction

A hospital with an outpatient clinic in Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia, plans to carry out reconstruction work and to buy healthcare equipment worth almost €3.2m, excluding VAT, according to information published by the Slovak Public Procurement Office on its online portal, Vestnik.
The project, funded by the “Health” Operational Programme, will run for 24 months after the winner has been chosen and the contract has been signed. The invitation to tender will be published on 5 September 2010.
The hospital, established at the beginning of 2003, provides outpatient and institutional care, which includes first aid medical services and social care services. Furthermore, it offers hospital beds in its internal medicine and aftercare wards and in its intensive care unit.
