€5.5m of sales revenues for Gedeon Richter in Bulgaria in H1 2010

The sales of
Gedeon Richter, the prominent Hungarian pharmaceutical manufacturer, were worth €5.5m in Bulgaria in H1 2010, an increase of 5.8% in comparison to €5.2m recorded in H1 2009. By contrast, the company enjoyed rapid sales growth in excess of 70% during H1 2008 to €6.7m.
During the second quarter of the year the company launched two new products in the Bulgarian pharma market: the gynaecological product EllaOne (ulipristal) and the antidepressant Lenuxin (escitalopram).
