Ceva-Phylaxia granted HUF 100m from the Hungarian government

Ceva Phylaxia, the Hungarian subsidiary of the French veterinary pharmaceutical company Ceva Sante Animale, has been granted a state aid of HUF 100m (€0.37m) for the development of the bacterial vaccine production plant based in Budapest. The total cost of the investment is €8.5m.
Thanks to the investment, the sales of Ceva-Phylaxia vaccines are expected to double, according to Thierry Le Flohic, CEO of Ceva Phylaxia. The production capacity of the anaerobe bacterial vaccine will be increased from 160,000 to 350,000 litres, and the aerobe vaccines from 30,000 to 200,000 litres per year.
